Annointed Beauty Daily Devotions Ministry

When speaking to family, friends and acquaintances, I often hear of their dreams and aspirations. I must say some of them are quite good and extremely creative, while others are better left as just dreams…lol. A few years later I run into them again and ask about their progress and find that they haven’t even attempted to bring their dreams to life. I often wonder why people do not take the initiative to make their visions a reality.  What boggles me the most, is that Christians who serve The Almighty God who created the world in 6 DAYS, manage not to have faith in His capability to help them realize their dreams.

God has given each of us specific talents and to some great visions. However, although He has equipped us with the potential, we must resolve to make them a reality. Sadly, many Christians have not yet realized that the only thing keeping them from achieving their vision is their lack of faith. In order to accomplish any Great thing in the name of Lord, you must have the Faith that He can and will bring it to pass. As a matter of fact, the Bible says:

We live by faith, not by sight – 2 Corinthians 5:7

You may not see where your help will come from, but you must still have Faith that God will see you through. You may not see where the money is coming from to expand the church, but God will provide. No matter what the enemy throws your way, remember  that God is still on the throne and he will equip you with the tools you need to accomplish His great work. Do not allow the enemy to cripple your dreams. Don’t just sit there and do nothing. I heard a Pastor say in a sermon “Wether you do or wether you don’t, TIME WILL PASS!”

Time waits for no one. My dad always says: “Do all you can while you are still young and capable of accomplishing great things.”  This by no means is to say that one can not accomplish great things in their golden years. However, why wait till you’re 75 to start that ministry when you are fully capable of doing it now? Time will pass wether you choose to do somethng now or sit and wait till a brick falls on your head. Tomorrow is promised to no man. Therefore, we must do what the Lord places in our heart today while we still can.

All the Lord asks of us is that we have the faith of a “Mustard Seed”. Do you know how small a mustard seed is? No? Well, I have taken the liberty of attaching a picture.

This tiny little seed is the amount of Faith Christ said can “move mountains”. So I have to ask, why is it so difficult for us to have this little amount of faith in God? He parted seas, caused donkeys to talk, took down mighty fortresses with a “shout”, rained food from heaven, made the lame walk, blind see, raised the dead, died and resurrected…I can go on and on and on. All of this and we still can’t trust Him to bring things to pass in our lives.

Think back on all of the visions that God has placed into your life. Why haven’t they come to pass? Is it because of a lack of faith? If so, why not trust Him to turn that vision into a reality? Today, take the time to speak to God and ask Him to renew your strength and resolve to trust Him to bring your dreams to life. Great things are in store, will you trust Him today?
