Annointed Beauty Daily Devotions Ministry

As I sit here watching CNN, they are playing a video of the Haitian people peacefully rallying in support singing and chanting songs of faith. Specifically singing “Roule Roche La” a popular creole Gospel song that translates as “roll the stones away Lord, roll the stones away Lord for I don’t see a way out. Israel stood before the red sea; they didn’t know where to go and what to do. But one thing they did know is that God never begins a job and leaves it unfinished.” It is inspiring to see a people who have lost everything still keeping the faith. The Haitian people are often labeled as godless people, but this week has proven this label wrong.

We are a very proud nation that believes in the Most High God and the salvation given to us through His son Jesus Christ. The Haitian people have taught us to trust God through all our circumstances. Let me ask you this, if you were the one who loss everything – your family, your home, EVERYTHING! -would you still praise God? Would you still display your faith in God? The Haitian people have taught us how to Praise God Anyhow. They have taught us how to keep the faith even when all seems lost.

As Christians, it is imperative that we remain faithful even in the lowest of times. Our faith will help to rally God’s children through the tough times and win souls for the Kingdom. Let this serve as a motivation for us to strengthen our faith and build a true relationship with the Lord – one that will cause us to Praise God anyhow.

I am proud to be a Child of God and HAITIAN!
